Using a Harbor Freight Leak Down Tester Part Number 94190. Added a Milton ball valve and M type fittings. The quick disconnect came with the Harbor Freight tool were not very good sealing so when you connected the hoses the reading on the leakage gauge would jump even when connecting to something that didn't leak air. The ball valve allows the cylinder to be hooked up to the tool and then the pressure slowly released.

GM Troubleshooting Part 5 - Fuel System including filter, pump, injector, regulator Video Clips. Duration : 14.40 Mins.
This is part 5 of a multi part video series about how to troubleshoot any ignition, fuel injection or timing issue. I describe the fuel system and what I did to test it. specs referenced in the video: fuel pressure (in PSI): TBI (9-13), MFI (41-47), CMFI (58-64), CSEFI (55-61). Those pressures are for key on, not running. When running normal range is 3-10psi less for all injection systems. Injector resistance (in ohms): TBI 1.16-1.36, MFI (11.6-12.4), CMFI (1.37-1.77). In the video I forgot to mention it is fairly difficult to bend the spider legs of the new injector unit so they fit in the intake holes. Pay attention to the way the original was installed (legs going over/under the nut kit lines) and try to replicate the original routing. Oh... and I forgot to mention that if you have a fuel lean condition, spray quick start in the throttle body and see if it starts... if it runs on quick start, you have proven your condition is a lack of fuel. UPDATE Dec 8_2011: I still have the 2 moulded fuel injector lines (new never used) and I want to sell them... if you need these lines send me a private message and we can work out a deal. Thanks.

The CAM sensor or camshaft position sensor's role is to signal the ECM the camshaft position. The crank and cam sensor operate in sync with each other. Without the CAM sensor the vehicle may not even start and cause hard starting.
