In 2009-10 I made 6 major prototypes of devices for underwater use: lights, and cam housings. Devices go through testing in shallow water (pool) and then to DIY pressure chamber. Using compressed air I can simulate submersion of my prototype to maximum of 300' (safety limit for my pot). This is not a bomb - formerly aluminum 80 cuft scuba tank is filled with water which makes test realistic. If prototype floods it floods just like in real dive. If pressure pot looses seal it simply leaks-there is no danger of explosion.
