The detailed test results are LCD displayed after each test or can be reviewed and/or printed from memory. This hand-held tester is the auto industries answer to portability in a professionally accurate battery load tester and system analyzer. Both jaws of each clamp must firmly engage the battery terminal. The wire soldered to the copper insert jaw must be insulated from the other wire soldered to the opposite handle. This insulation is required so that one can read the Amperes and the other reads the Volts. The damaged clamps or loose wires will affect the readings. It is used in 6 Volt and 12 Volt automotive and commercial starting batteries and 12 Volt starting and charging systems. It features battery CCA Range of 200-1600, automated load of 40 amperes, voltmeter range from 0 to 30 with 0.01 resolution, cooling is done by heat sink/vented, digital display of 1 inches x 2.5 inches with 4 line 16 character, operational temperature of 0-120 Degrees Fahrenheit, operational humidity of 0-85 per cent, language is in English or spanish, internal battery of 9 Volt dc. It can do alternator test, stator diode test, starter draw test. It does not have external volt leads. There is no voltage drop test.
